00:00:00,000 --> 00:00:10,000
One of life's greatest questions is what happens to us after we die? Is death the end or a new beginning?
2
00:00:10,000 --> 00:00:19,000
Welcome to the Round Trip Death Podcast. In this show, we listen to firsthand accounts of people who have gone beyond the veil and return to talk about it.
3
00:00:19,000 --> 00:00:31,000
So this morning, we're going to take everybody, all of our listeners here on a little journey across the ocean.
4
00:00:31,000 --> 00:00:40,000
Imagine the most beautiful beaches in the world on the island of Oahu. And Aloha, David Wallace. Good morning.
5
00:00:40,000 --> 00:00:43,000
Aloha.
6
00:00:43,000 --> 00:00:46,000
Now I hear you have a nickname. Tell us about that.
7
00:00:46,000 --> 00:00:51,000
My nickname? Yes. Kahu Dave?
8
00:00:51,000 --> 00:01:07,000
Oh, it's a title. A kahu is a title that people assume the term kahu means a caretaker.
9
00:01:07,000 --> 00:01:32,000
Okay, or someone who's responsible for something. And so if a person is responsible for taking care of a building, something like a janitor, yeah, he's actually a kahu hale, or a person responsible for a house.
10
00:01:32,000 --> 00:01:50,000
A person that takes care of a yard, his name would be a kahu aina, a person that takes care of the land. So it's a title. And here in Hawaii, there's kahus.
11
00:01:50,000 --> 00:02:01,000
When people refer to kahu, it's a person with a spiritual connection and a responsibility to carry out.
12
00:02:01,000 --> 00:02:05,000
So would you like me to call you kahu or Dave or both?
13
00:02:05,000 --> 00:02:08,000
Just Dave.
14
00:02:08,000 --> 00:02:12,000
We'll be less formal today.
15
00:02:12,000 --> 00:02:37,000
Yeah, I'm not into titles, but you know, I went through the process and for Hawaiians, they like to honor people and Polynesians, they like to honor people and give them their due respect. So it's very respectful when people call me kahu and I appreciate that.
16
00:02:37,000 --> 00:02:45,000
There's another term that I keep on being called and that's uncle.
17
00:02:45,000 --> 00:02:50,000
In Hawaii, uncle tutu names like that are very highly respected as well.
18
00:02:50,000 --> 00:02:59,000
Yeah. And it's the younger generation recognizing the older generation and hopefully the wisdom that we carry.
19
00:02:59,000 --> 00:03:03,000
Well, we're going to hear about some of your wisdom today.
20
00:03:03,000 --> 00:03:13,000
But I want to let listeners know, first of all, that I think you have the record for the most NDEs of any one person that's been on this show so far.
21
00:03:13,000 --> 00:03:27,000
And we'll let people just count as we go along. But let's go back to your very first one that you had as a child. Can you give us a little idea of where you were living, what you were doing, kind of leading up to what happened?
22
00:03:27,000 --> 00:03:45,000
Sure. I was a five year old child growing up on the island of Molokai. And Molokai, during that time, we were part of the Hawaiian Homesteads project in central Molokai.
23
00:03:45,000 --> 00:03:58,000
And so we lived on our homestead. We had a five acre plot of land with another 35 acres detached to practice agriculture, if you wanted.
24
00:03:58,000 --> 00:04:08,000
Our family ended up leasing the 35 acres to the pineapple plantation. So pineapple was growing on the land.
25
00:04:08,000 --> 00:04:20,000
Anyway, so that's that's the way we lived. And there's me and my parents and five children. So there's me and my brother and our three sisters.
26
00:04:20,000 --> 00:04:23,000
How did you have an NDE as a five year old?
27
00:04:23,000 --> 00:04:35,000
My brother and I were playing in a back car. And we were roughhousing. And actually, I think we were fighting over a piece of candy.
28
00:04:35,000 --> 00:04:40,000
Let me make sure we can paint the picture. Is the car moving or in the driveway?
29
00:04:40,000 --> 00:04:52,000
The car is moving and my aunt is driving. She took us to go shopping and we were returning from shopping and we're on the road moving.
30
00:04:52,000 --> 00:05:10,000
And we're fighting. We're playing around in roughhousing and I jumped on my brother and my brother kicked me from one side of the car to the next and I flew in the air and I hit the back door and my aunt was scolding us.
31
00:05:10,000 --> 00:05:23,000
And, you know, I tried to get us to stop and said, one of us going to get hurt. Well, I think a second or third time he kicked me from one side of the car to the next.
32
00:05:23,000 --> 00:05:35,000
I reached out and grabbed to something for something to brace me. And by mistake, I grabbed the car handle or the handle to the door.
33
00:05:35,000 --> 00:05:43,000
And the old cars you pulled down to open the door from the inside and not up.
34
00:05:43,000 --> 00:05:53,000
So I reached and pulled down and the door open right when my aunt was making a turn and she was making a quick turn.
35
00:05:53,000 --> 00:06:06,000
And I was sucked out of the car from the momentum of that. And I ended up falling on the pavement and cracking my head.
36
00:06:06,000 --> 00:06:08,000
What do you remember next?
37
00:06:08,000 --> 00:06:13,000
Well, I remember I don't remember hitting the ground.
38
00:06:13,000 --> 00:06:24,000
In fact, before I hit the ground, I felt like I was pulling up, you know, like you're falling back and you're trying to pull back, pull yourself up. And that's how I felt it felt like I was pulling up.
39
00:06:24,000 --> 00:06:30,000
And before I hit the ground, I was out of my body. I started looking around and the colors.
40
00:06:30,000 --> 00:06:43,000
The thing that caught me as an young kid is once I got out of my body, the colors of everything changed. Everything was bright and vibrant.
41
00:06:43,000 --> 00:06:55,000
I mean, green, green, green, blue skies, white clouds. It was just everything was so clear and crystal clear.
42
00:06:55,000 --> 00:07:08,000
And that's the first time I witnessed that. And so as I pulled myself out, I started looking around first to wonder where was I?
43
00:07:08,000 --> 00:07:18,000
And the second thing is when I decided to look down, there was this kid laying on the ground out.
44
00:07:18,000 --> 00:07:26,000
And I didn't recognize at first I didn't recognize who it was until my brother came crying out of the car.
45
00:07:26,000 --> 00:07:31,000
I started crying and trying to wake me up. Then I realized that's me.
46
00:07:31,000 --> 00:07:48,000
So I'm floating above and looking down and I got scared because besides seeing my brother and my aunt and there was another car filled with people behind us that came up and tried to help.
47
00:07:48,000 --> 00:07:56,000
There are these shadows coming gathering around and I felt like being pulled somewhere.
48
00:07:56,000 --> 00:08:11,000
And I panicked and I was I got scared. And right when I got scared, I felt this hand kind of like reach over, reach over and pull me in.
49
00:08:11,000 --> 00:08:25,000
And I looked back and there was this huge, huge Hawaiian man. He grabbed me, held me close and didn't say anything and just took me zipping off in the air.
50
00:08:25,000 --> 00:08:33,000
And so he took me away from this scary situation that he wanted to protect me from.
51
00:08:33,000 --> 00:08:41,000
After he took me away, I felt like we were moving really quick through space.
52
00:08:41,000 --> 00:08:47,000
And in fact, it felt like I was flying and moving really, really quick.
53
00:08:47,000 --> 00:09:02,000
And in fact, when I first started, when I first saw Star Wars and when they make the jump and the lights just go in a way, it reminded me of that.
54
00:09:02,000 --> 00:09:13,000
But the lights were flashing. I wasn't on these long streaks of light, but they were just like passing by like little spots here and there and just passing by.
55
00:09:13,000 --> 00:09:24,000
But it felt like we were moving through space. And eventually, after a while, just looking, you know, wondering who this man was.
56
00:09:24,000 --> 00:09:33,000
We came to a place where the first feature I noticed was it looked like a rocky cave.
57
00:09:33,000 --> 00:09:49,000
And in the middle of this rocky place, there was a hole in the ground and we entered the hole and there was light coming out from the hole, light from the top above the hole, light through the hole.
58
00:09:49,000 --> 00:09:55,000
And we went down in the hole and when we reached the bottom, we entered a small room.
59
00:09:55,000 --> 00:10:10,000
And this room was kind of like an octagon shape, could be more size than eight, but it was geometric and stuff. It wasn't a circle, but there were edges to it.
60
00:10:10,000 --> 00:10:26,000
And on each of these walls, there were windows and doors and I could easily go to any of the windows and doors and just open it and go on the outside.
61
00:10:26,000 --> 00:10:45,000
But when we got there, he helped me in the room and told me not to go outside because as my eyes started to adjust to the darkness on the outside, I could see people moving, shadows of people moving.
62
00:10:45,000 --> 00:11:01,000
And once they realized that I could see them, they started coming closer to the window and they started calling my name. And the name that they called me was David, David, David.
63
00:11:01,000 --> 00:11:16,000
And my ancestors, when they visit me, my ancestors have been visiting me in my dreams from the time I was little, before this accident. And when my ancestors addressed me, they called me by my Hawaiian name, E-Mai Kalani, E-Mai Kalani.
64
00:11:16,000 --> 00:11:32,000
So when these people started calling me by my given name, David, David, David, God I'm David, you know.
65
00:11:32,000 --> 00:11:53,000
I knew they weren't family members, but they looked like my family. And I was confused. And it was my ancestor who had taken me to the room that told me, you think those are your ancestors? They're not. They're deceivers.
66
00:11:53,000 --> 00:12:10,000
They want you to get outside with them and join them. And so, so what happened if I do? This is why you're going to join them in this dark place and you'd be roaming around like them lost from that point on.
67
00:12:10,000 --> 00:12:15,000
So that's why he kept me in the room for my safety.
68
00:12:15,000 --> 00:12:22,000
That's amazing. So this Hawaiian man slash angel is an ancestor. Do you know who?
69
00:12:22,000 --> 00:12:23,000
Yeah.
70
00:12:23,000 --> 00:12:25,000
Do you mind telling us?
71
00:12:25,000 --> 00:12:29,000
Yeah, he's eventually.
72
00:12:29,000 --> 00:12:36,000
Actually, it was the first time I really seen him in the way he was.
73
00:12:36,000 --> 00:12:38,000
For me, he was huge.
74
00:12:38,000 --> 00:12:41,000
But in reality, he's a short man.
75
00:12:41,000 --> 00:12:44,000
You know, not even six feet tall.
76
00:12:44,000 --> 00:12:50,000
But I was seeing his spirit, which was a giant.
77
00:12:50,000 --> 00:12:58,000
He's a giant, giant of a man. He was a common way for coming out of the great and come in at the second.
78
00:12:58,000 --> 00:13:01,000
And his name was have a have a.
79
00:13:01,000 --> 00:13:07,000
So, have a have a was that man that came to help me.
80
00:13:07,000 --> 00:13:12,000
And a common way is a spiritual advisor.
81
00:13:12,000 --> 00:13:22,000
And he has many gifts. In fact, when I take a look at some of the gifts that have a have a was known to have,
82
00:13:22,000 --> 00:13:27,000
we are very similar.
83
00:13:27,000 --> 00:13:29,000
We were so similar.
84
00:13:29,000 --> 00:13:31,000
All right. What happened next?
85
00:13:31,000 --> 00:13:40,000
So he helped me in a room. In fact, I was I was hungry and I was thirsty and there wasn't anything to eat in there.
86
00:13:40,000 --> 00:13:46,000
And so the spirits out there knew and they're trying to give me plate lunch.
87
00:13:46,000 --> 00:13:50,000
They're trying to give me entice me to go and join them.
88
00:13:50,000 --> 00:13:58,000
So when I stood up to try and go, my ancestors just grabbed me and put me down and helped me.
89
00:13:58,000 --> 00:14:00,000
I'm hungry. They give it to me.
90
00:14:00,000 --> 00:14:10,000
They feed me not they are annoying. Michael and he stay in here. Don't go. Don't go. You know, we just keeping you here.
91
00:14:10,000 --> 00:14:20,000
Don't go out. And finally, he got frustrated and grabbed me and he sat down on my chest and hit me to the ground.
92
00:14:20,000 --> 00:14:24,000
And I started crying and kicking. I was kicking and fighting with him.
93
00:14:24,000 --> 00:14:32,000
And finally, I just gave up. Oh, whatever. Right when I gave up and started to cry myself to sleep.
94
00:14:32,000 --> 00:14:41,000
That's when I woke up in the hospital. My head was just throbbing and people were all excited, you know,
95
00:14:41,000 --> 00:14:45,000
because I was unconscious, but do that moment.
96
00:14:45,000 --> 00:14:55,000
And so when I opened my eyes and looked around, I was, oh, I'm no longer in this small room anymore. I'm in a hospital.
97
00:14:55,000 --> 00:15:05,000
And I tried telling my my parents and nurses and my doctor what was happening at that time.
98
00:15:05,000 --> 00:15:10,000
But they just say, you saw money in your head. You scrambled your brains.
99
00:15:10,000 --> 00:15:20,000
You saw hallucination. That that was very typical years ago before people understood these and that these things are real.
100
00:15:20,000 --> 00:15:25,000
Yeah. But yours is yours is very unusual. I've never heard one quite like that before.
101
00:15:25,000 --> 00:15:32,000
That's really cool. And as a five year old, how do you process that, especially if you can't really talk to anybody about it?
102
00:15:32,000 --> 00:15:44,000
Well, before I even went before I even had this, I was a weird child.
103
00:15:44,000 --> 00:15:53,000
So my dreams used to be really, really strange and prophetic.
104
00:15:53,000 --> 00:15:59,000
So the things that I used to dream about used to come true and I used to see them.
105
00:15:59,000 --> 00:16:10,000
And so, you know, for me, it was just an extension of what I was going through already.
106
00:16:10,000 --> 00:16:19,000
I couldn't see spirits before this accident, but after this particular accident, something changed in my head.
107
00:16:19,000 --> 00:16:26,000
Something changed in my perspective where now from that point on, I could see spirits.
108
00:16:26,000 --> 00:16:32,000
And I learned how to communicate with them after that.
109
00:16:32,000 --> 00:16:37,000
And it took quite a while for me to learn that, but I figured it out.
110
00:16:37,000 --> 00:16:47,000
So it was more of like continuation of development. It's a new thing that came.
111
00:16:47,000 --> 00:16:57,000
And when these things are happening, when I tell it to other people, people are surprised that I'm not freaking out.
112
00:16:57,000 --> 00:17:08,000
And I remind them that the culture that I grew up in and the family, the things that my family were able to do,
113
00:17:08,000 --> 00:17:14,000
what I saw and what I was able to do is minor.
114
00:17:14,000 --> 00:17:20,000
So it's normal. So these things weren't scary to me.
115
00:17:20,000 --> 00:17:24,000
Yeah. And it just wasn't that big a deal because it was fairly normal.
116
00:17:24,000 --> 00:17:29,000
OK, that's enough for one show right there. But there's more.
117
00:17:29,000 --> 00:17:34,000
Hey, let's go to near-death experience number two. How old were you? What happened?
118
00:17:34,000 --> 00:17:44,000
Near-death experience number two occurred in 1979.
119
00:17:44,000 --> 00:17:58,000
In 1978, I was a police officer and I was asked to go to Illinois, Evanston, Illinois for the Traffic Institute
120
00:17:58,000 --> 00:18:11,000
because on the island of Molokai, where I was a policeman, they wanted me to be the administrator for traffic, not traffic, licensing.
121
00:18:11,000 --> 00:18:17,000
So the police chief sent me there and I went to school.
122
00:18:17,000 --> 00:18:29,000
If you read in your history books, 1978 in Chicago was the worst snowstorm in history.
123
00:18:29,000 --> 00:18:33,000
It was cold. You were out of your element big time.
124
00:18:33,000 --> 00:18:44,000
Oh, it was so funny because I went up with a thick sheepskin coat and it had plastic buttons.
125
00:18:44,000 --> 00:18:49,000
And I wore it out of the terminal to hail a cab.
126
00:18:49,000 --> 00:18:55,000
As soon as I stepped out of the terminal, I heard like popcorn popping.
127
00:18:55,000 --> 00:19:03,000
I don't know. What is that? And I looked at my plastic buttons.
128
00:19:03,000 --> 00:19:13,000
They're gone. Just a cold from the environment exploded by plastic buttons.
129
00:19:13,000 --> 00:19:16,000
So all of my buttons were all gone.
130
00:19:16,000 --> 00:19:25,000
And I'm over there exposed and I knew it was going to be cold, but I wasn't prepared for that.
131
00:19:25,000 --> 00:19:32,000
So I was up there for two weeks and during that two weeks, I got double pneumonia.
132
00:19:32,000 --> 00:19:40,000
And so when I returned to Hawaii, both of my lungs were just infested. I could hardly breathe.
133
00:19:40,000 --> 00:19:44,000
My temperature was going up. I went to the doctors.
134
00:19:44,000 --> 00:19:50,000
Doctors gave me things, but I really thought that I was going to die.
135
00:19:50,000 --> 00:19:55,000
And so one night I took my temperature and it was 103.
136
00:19:55,000 --> 00:20:00,000
And I told my wife, you know, I'm going to sleep.
137
00:20:00,000 --> 00:20:12,000
And if I die, if I die in the process, you know, just be just be reminded everything will be taken care of.
138
00:20:12,000 --> 00:20:16,000
And she looks at me, don't you talk about dying.
139
00:20:16,000 --> 00:20:26,000
So I went in and slept. And about early in the morning, I would say between two o'clock and three,
140
00:20:26,000 --> 00:20:32,000
I'm sleeping and I feel someone pulling my toe.
141
00:20:32,000 --> 00:20:37,000
For Polynesians, if you pull a person's toe while they're sleeping,
142
00:20:37,000 --> 00:20:42,000
there's a trick that you play in you waking up their spirit to have the spirit talk to you.
143
00:20:42,000 --> 00:20:46,000
So I thought that's what somebody was doing to me, pulling my toe.
144
00:20:46,000 --> 00:20:53,000
So I woke up and when I woke up, I felt really, really good.
145
00:20:53,000 --> 00:20:59,000
I felt strong. I could breathe. There's no pain in my chest. I feel myself.
146
00:20:59,000 --> 00:21:05,000
Oh, I feel good. So I stood up from my bed and I look.
147
00:21:05,000 --> 00:21:13,000
And there was my friends standing at my foot of my bed, smiling at me, wearing his overalls.
148
00:21:13,000 --> 00:21:17,000
And I run up to him and I hug him and his name is Bruce.
149
00:21:17,000 --> 00:21:24,000
I said, Bruce, what you doing here? So I hug and I kiss him and said, oh, Bruce, I miss you so much.
150
00:21:24,000 --> 00:21:30,000
Then I realized my friend Bruce is dead.
151
00:21:30,000 --> 00:21:34,000
And he's there in my room at my foot of my bed.
152
00:21:34,000 --> 00:21:40,000
And I look at him and I says, Bruce, you're dead, right? He goes, yeah, that didn't change.
153
00:21:40,000 --> 00:21:49,000
And I said, oh, no, am I dead, too? And I turned towards my bed to look where I was sleeping.
154
00:21:49,000 --> 00:21:55,000
And he kind of slides over and says, David, don't look. You don't want to look at you.
155
00:21:55,000 --> 00:22:03,000
And so I knew what he was doing. He was shielding me from looking at my body.
156
00:22:03,000 --> 00:22:07,000
So I sat down and I cried on the floor like a little baby.
157
00:22:07,000 --> 00:22:13,000
And he's there looking down and he's more like a big brother figure to me.
158
00:22:13,000 --> 00:22:21,000
And he's teasing me and he picks me up by the collar and says, stop being a sissy boy.
159
00:22:21,000 --> 00:22:28,000
He pulls me up and says, get up here. Yeah, there's nothing to worry about.
160
00:22:28,000 --> 00:22:30,000
I just came to show you something.
161
00:22:30,000 --> 00:22:35,000
And so I look at him and say, came here to show me something, not to take me away?
162
00:22:35,000 --> 00:22:40,000
And he goes, no. So he calmed me down.
163
00:22:40,000 --> 00:22:45,000
And so right next to our bed, there's a closet.
164
00:22:45,000 --> 00:22:54,000
And he reaches in, opens the closet, sticks his hand inside the closet and spread the clothes apart.
165
00:22:54,000 --> 00:23:00,000
And when he spread the clothes in the back of the closet, there's a round hole.
166
00:23:00,000 --> 00:23:08,000
And I look at the hole and the longer I stare at the hole, the hole gets bigger until it fills the whole closet.
167
00:23:08,000 --> 00:23:13,000
And he looks at me and says, you ready?
168
00:23:13,000 --> 00:23:19,000
And he grabs my hand. And before I could answer, we started walking in the tunnel.
169
00:23:19,000 --> 00:23:30,000
So this tunnel, as I started walking in the tunnel, the tunnel looked like, in fact, it looked like a blood vessel.
170
00:23:30,000 --> 00:23:34,000
It wasn't like walking in Earth.
171
00:23:34,000 --> 00:23:40,000
It looked like we were walking through some kind of living organism, more like a blood vessel.
172
00:23:40,000 --> 00:23:45,000
And it was elastic. It kind of like breathed in and out and stuff.
173
00:23:45,000 --> 00:23:49,000
So while we were walking in, it started off really dark.
174
00:23:49,000 --> 00:23:55,000
But we at the end, there was a light kind of like drawing us.
175
00:23:55,000 --> 00:23:59,000
And so we started walking more towards the light.
176
00:23:59,000 --> 00:24:07,000
And halfway through the tunnel, our dress changed.
177
00:24:07,000 --> 00:24:15,000
We started we were dressed in something white and looked like feathers, particles.
178
00:24:15,000 --> 00:24:19,000
In fact, as I touched the clothes, it gave off energy.
179
00:24:19,000 --> 00:24:23,000
And this energy kind of really felt really, really good.
180
00:24:23,000 --> 00:24:28,000
So we walked and we kept on making turns.
181
00:24:28,000 --> 00:24:38,000
And my friend Bruce had passed away about two months before this incident.
182
00:24:38,000 --> 00:24:44,000
And he left four children and his wife.
183
00:24:44,000 --> 00:24:50,000
He died of a stroke while playing volleyball at one of our ward activities.
184
00:24:50,000 --> 00:24:56,000
So while we were walking through, he was asking about his wife and his kids, how they were.
185
00:24:56,000 --> 00:25:01,000
And so I says, well, you know, your son, your oldest son, Bruce,
186
00:25:01,000 --> 00:25:08,000
who was about 12 years old at the time when he died, spoke very well at your funeral.
187
00:25:08,000 --> 00:25:13,000
And he's the one that gave the eulogy. He did really well.
188
00:25:13,000 --> 00:25:17,000
He says, yeah, I know I was there. So very proud of him.
189
00:25:17,000 --> 00:25:21,000
So finally, we reached the end of the tunnel.
190
00:25:21,000 --> 00:25:25,000
And at the end of the tunnel, there's a memory.
191
00:25:25,000 --> 00:25:29,000
And this memory, kind of like breathing.
192
00:25:29,000 --> 00:25:39,000
And as I looked across the memory, there was a landscape and there was a hill, there was grass, there's trees.
193
00:25:39,000 --> 00:25:44,000
And I looked on the other side and it was beautiful.
194
00:25:44,000 --> 00:25:49,000
Then I heard people's voices coming from over the hill.
195
00:25:49,000 --> 00:25:58,000
And I see people coming over the hill and coming towards the memory as long line of people.
196
00:25:58,000 --> 00:26:01,000
And I looked at Bruce and says, who are these people?
197
00:26:01,000 --> 00:26:04,000
Says, well, take a look.
198
00:26:04,000 --> 00:26:16,000
And sure enough, when I started looking better, I saw my grandfathers, both grandfathers, my grandmothers, who had passed away.
199
00:26:16,000 --> 00:26:21,000
I seen some uncles and aunties who had passed away. I said, hey, this is all O'Hara.
200
00:26:21,000 --> 00:26:24,000
I said, yes, it's family.
201
00:26:24,000 --> 00:26:28,000
And they all came to greet me at the veil.
202
00:26:28,000 --> 00:26:34,000
Then I heard barking and things.
203
00:26:34,000 --> 00:26:37,000
And I said, oh, what's that coming from?
204
00:26:37,000 --> 00:26:43,000
And from the same direction came a bunch of dogs and different animals.
205
00:26:43,000 --> 00:26:51,000
And as they came close to this memory, they started jumping up on the memory.
206
00:26:51,000 --> 00:26:56,000
And I looked, these are my pets from the time I was little.
207
00:26:56,000 --> 00:26:59,000
And I knew their names. I knew who they were.
208
00:26:59,000 --> 00:27:02,000
And they're trying to jump on me, trying to get me.
209
00:27:02,000 --> 00:27:06,000
And I started crying as I miss them.
210
00:27:06,000 --> 00:27:09,000
And they were remembered you too, it sounds like.
211
00:27:09,000 --> 00:27:11,000
They remembered me. They knew who I was.
212
00:27:11,000 --> 00:27:14,000
And those are my pets.
213
00:27:14,000 --> 00:27:19,000
My pigeon that I raised from a squab.
214
00:27:19,000 --> 00:27:24,000
And she was there. My favorite dogs were there.
215
00:27:24,000 --> 00:27:30,000
They're all excited to see me and my family members.
216
00:27:30,000 --> 00:27:33,000
So I'm standing over there.
217
00:27:33,000 --> 00:27:40,000
And my ancestors started to call me by my Hawaiian name, say, my colony.
218
00:27:40,000 --> 00:27:43,000
Hale mai, hale mai, time to come.
219
00:27:43,000 --> 00:27:54,000
And so I looked at them and I took a step forward into the veil.
220
00:27:54,000 --> 00:28:03,000
And right when I stepped into the veil, I looked towards the back of the group, my ancestors.
221
00:28:03,000 --> 00:28:05,000
And there was my grandfather.
222
00:28:05,000 --> 00:28:08,000
And my grandfather was looking at me.
223
00:28:08,000 --> 00:28:14,000
And he was frowning. He was frowning and shaking his head.
224
00:28:14,000 --> 00:28:16,000
No.
225
00:28:16,000 --> 00:28:19,000
So he's telling me, no, the time wasn't right.
226
00:28:19,000 --> 00:28:28,000
And so same time, same moment he did that, I heard a voice coming from the other end of the tunnel.
227
00:28:28,000 --> 00:28:30,000
And it was my daughter.
228
00:28:30,000 --> 00:28:33,000
She was a little girl at the time.
229
00:28:33,000 --> 00:28:38,000
And she called out, daddy, daddy, where are you, daddy?
230
00:28:38,000 --> 00:28:41,000
And so I hesitated.
231
00:28:41,000 --> 00:28:46,000
And I felt my friend put his hand, reach out and put his hand on my chest.
232
00:28:46,000 --> 00:28:55,000
And I backed out. He helped me back out of the veil where, you know, and remain in this world.
233
00:28:55,000 --> 00:29:01,000
And so basically drug me out and pulled me out and saved me.
234
00:29:01,000 --> 00:29:07,000
And I looked at my friend and I says, you know, Bruce, I cannot do this.
235
00:29:07,000 --> 00:29:10,000
I cannot. My daughter.
236
00:29:10,000 --> 00:29:14,000
You know, there's there's people that love me. I need to go take care of them.
237
00:29:14,000 --> 00:29:23,000
And so I hug him. And while I'm hugging him, he whispered in my ear and says, you know, Dave,
238
00:29:23,000 --> 00:29:27,000
I wish I made that same decision you're making right now.
239
00:29:27,000 --> 00:29:36,000
So he was given a choice of either going through and being with his ancestors or staying.
240
00:29:36,000 --> 00:29:41,000
And that was a choice given him. He chose to move on.
241
00:29:41,000 --> 00:29:44,000
Yeah. And not everybody gets that choice.
242
00:29:44,000 --> 00:29:50,000
Yeah. Just like in your first experience, you didn't really have a choice but to come back. Yeah.
243
00:29:50,000 --> 00:30:00,000
Have you ever thought about people like Bruce, how many make the choice when they have it to stay versus how many choose to come back?
244
00:30:00,000 --> 00:30:06,000
Did you guess? Is it 50 50? Is it? I mean, who knows? But I don't know.
245
00:30:06,000 --> 00:30:15,000
I that's something I think about. Yeah. But considering considering what had happened to Bruce, he had a massive stroke.
246
00:30:15,000 --> 00:30:23,000
And had he survived the stroke and returned to his body, he would basically be better than for the rest of his life.
247
00:30:23,000 --> 00:30:28,000
And his wife would have to take care of him. And he would be a burden not only to his wife,
248
00:30:28,000 --> 00:30:34,000
but also his children should he continue living in that way. And Bruce wasn't like that.
249
00:30:34,000 --> 00:30:40,000
He didn't want people to be taking care of for him.
250
00:30:40,000 --> 00:30:45,000
So I think he saw the long range impact should he return. Yeah.
251
00:30:45,000 --> 00:30:55,000
And he made the decision that it would be better, you know, less traumatic and stuff on the family if he just went.
252
00:30:55,000 --> 00:30:59,000
Do you have any memories of what it was like going back in your body?
253
00:30:59,000 --> 00:31:09,000
Actually, it felt like I was falling when when I told Bruce, I said, you know, I, you know, I need to go back.
254
00:31:09,000 --> 00:31:17,000
And it felt like I was in a vacuum and something pulled me and I felt like I was free falling,
255
00:31:17,000 --> 00:31:25,000
jumping out of the airplane and before the parachute opens and free falling, free falling.
256
00:31:25,000 --> 00:31:33,000
And the next thing I know, I slagged into something and jolted me up.
257
00:31:33,000 --> 00:31:41,000
It felt like I hit the deck somewhere and I woke up and when I woke up, I was back in my body.
258
00:31:41,000 --> 00:31:48,000
My fever broke. In fact, the bed was soaking wet.
259
00:31:48,000 --> 00:31:55,000
Wow. OK. Well, we've had a full show today hearing about these two near death experiences.
260
00:31:55,000 --> 00:31:59,000
But say it with me, but there's more. Yes, there are.
261
00:31:59,000 --> 00:32:04,000
Right. Let's go on to number three. My near death experience.
262
00:32:04,000 --> 00:32:09,000
Number three occurred when I was in my 40s.
263
00:32:09,000 --> 00:32:13,000
What happened is I was a teacher.
264
00:32:13,000 --> 00:32:22,000
And as a classroom teacher in a public school, we become very susceptible to
265
00:32:22,000 --> 00:32:26,000
illnesses brought in to our classroom by these kids.
266
00:32:26,000 --> 00:32:33,000
I mean, every day I'm seeing about 180 students coming in and different households.
267
00:32:33,000 --> 00:32:35,000
And you never know where they are.
268
00:32:35,000 --> 00:32:44,000
So one day when we returned from from October break,
269
00:32:44,000 --> 00:32:50,000
we returned and there was this group of kids that went to the Philippines and they got sick.
270
00:32:50,000 --> 00:32:56,000
And instead of the parents keeping them home, they decided to send them to school.
271
00:32:56,000 --> 00:33:03,000
And as soon as I seen them sniffling and things like that, I says, oh, man, I'm going to get sick.
272
00:33:03,000 --> 00:33:07,000
Sure enough, I caught avian flu from them.
273
00:33:07,000 --> 00:33:14,000
And not only did I get avian flu, but I also had meningitis.
274
00:33:14,000 --> 00:33:21,000
And the combination of these two made my blood septic.
275
00:33:21,000 --> 00:33:29,000
In fact, my blood sugars are so high for so long, it wasn't even registering on my blood glucose monitor.
276
00:33:29,000 --> 00:33:33,000
And I began to get really, really sick.
277
00:33:33,000 --> 00:33:36,000
And I stayed home to try and take care of myself.
278
00:33:36,000 --> 00:33:45,000
And it came a time where I was drinking water, but nothing was coming out.
279
00:33:45,000 --> 00:33:48,000
Nothing was coming out. I wasn't urinating.
280
00:33:48,000 --> 00:33:51,000
And this was going on for about two days.
281
00:33:51,000 --> 00:33:56,000
Finally, I decided that I would drag myself to the hospital to check myself.
282
00:33:56,000 --> 00:34:11,000
So I was so weak as I got to the front of my apartment, I collapsed and fell through the jealousies by my apartment.
283
00:34:11,000 --> 00:34:20,000
And luckily, the handyman that was outside working came and rushed, called the ambulance.
284
00:34:20,000 --> 00:34:24,000
And the ambulance came and took me to the hospital.
285
00:34:24,000 --> 00:34:35,000
When I reached the hospital, the doctors came in and there were a bunch of doctors checking on me.
286
00:34:35,000 --> 00:34:44,000
One of the doctors told me that my organs had shut down, my kidneys had shut down.
287
00:34:44,000 --> 00:34:50,000
And my blood was so septic and my condition was so bad.
288
00:34:50,000 --> 00:34:58,000
Had I reached the hospital, 20 minutes later, they couldn't guarantee my life.
289
00:34:58,000 --> 00:35:06,000
So they put me in an ICU and I was there for about five days.
290
00:35:06,000 --> 00:35:11,000
But during this time, there was so much medication coming in to me.
291
00:35:11,000 --> 00:35:13,000
You ever seen a papaya tree?
292
00:35:13,000 --> 00:35:14,000
Yeah.
293
00:35:14,000 --> 00:35:17,000
All the fruits hanging out.
294
00:35:17,000 --> 00:35:21,000
That was my IVs.
295
00:35:21,000 --> 00:35:25,000
So all the IV bags were all just lined up one after another.
296
00:35:25,000 --> 00:35:30,000
It looked like a fully laden papaya tree from top to the bottom.
297
00:35:30,000 --> 00:35:38,000
And I had tubes running into me from every vein that they could find just to keep me alive.
298
00:35:38,000 --> 00:35:42,000
Only someone in Hawaii would make that kind of analogy.
299
00:35:42,000 --> 00:35:44,000
Yeah.
300
00:35:44,000 --> 00:35:51,000
For those that don't know, papaya trees are tall, very skinny, and there's just leaves and fruit at the top.
301
00:35:51,000 --> 00:35:53,000
There's not anything going up the trunk.
302
00:35:53,000 --> 00:35:57,000
So it would be kind of like that metal IV pole, I guess.
303
00:35:57,000 --> 00:35:58,000
Yeah.
304
00:35:58,000 --> 00:36:08,000
Well, some varieties of the papaya, the fruit will continue all the way down on the trunk down to the ground.
305
00:36:08,000 --> 00:36:09,000
Yeah.
306
00:36:09,000 --> 00:36:14,000
So that was my IV.
307
00:36:14,000 --> 00:36:24,000
Anyway, the second night that I was there, I'm not sure if I had an NDE or if this was a dream.
308
00:36:24,000 --> 00:36:27,000
So this one is kind of like iffy.
309
00:36:27,000 --> 00:36:38,000
But if you go by the definition of NDE, the NDE is a psychological experience, something that happens in your mind.
310
00:36:38,000 --> 00:36:45,000
And so that's why I included as my third NDE.
311
00:36:45,000 --> 00:36:52,000
In this dream, in this vision I had, I found myself in a grave.
312
00:36:52,000 --> 00:36:55,000
I found myself in a grave.
313
00:36:55,000 --> 00:36:57,000
And I was in a hole.
314
00:36:57,000 --> 00:37:05,000
And when I looked up into the hole, there was a headstone.
315
00:37:05,000 --> 00:37:09,000
My name and a date that I died.
316
00:37:09,000 --> 00:37:11,000
Right written on there.
317
00:37:11,000 --> 00:37:13,000
And I scared the crap out of me.
318
00:37:13,000 --> 00:37:19,000
So I clawed my way out and I started looking for a place to escape.
319
00:37:19,000 --> 00:37:24,000
I'm running around this cemetery.
320
00:37:24,000 --> 00:37:27,000
And the cemetery is huge.
321
00:37:27,000 --> 00:37:35,000
Every time I come to the gate, the gate is locked and the fence is too tall for me to get out.
322
00:37:35,000 --> 00:37:37,000
So I'm running around, running around.
323
00:37:37,000 --> 00:37:42,000
And then I see a man, a very well-dressed man.
324
00:37:42,000 --> 00:37:46,000
And he's dressed in black and he's wearing a top hat.
325
00:37:46,000 --> 00:37:53,000
And when I looked at him, he looked familiar to me, like I saw him before.
326
00:37:53,000 --> 00:37:55,000
And so I stopped.
327
00:37:55,000 --> 00:38:00,000
And he kind of looked at me and says, what are you doing?
328
00:38:00,000 --> 00:38:02,000
So I'm trying to get out of here.
329
00:38:02,000 --> 00:38:06,000
He says, you're in a grave.
330
00:38:06,000 --> 00:38:08,000
And who are you?
331
00:38:08,000 --> 00:38:10,000
I asked him, who are you?
332
00:38:10,000 --> 00:38:14,000
And the man says, I'm DEATH.
333
00:38:14,000 --> 00:38:18,000
And I says, what are you doing here?
334
00:38:18,000 --> 00:38:21,000
DEATH says, I came for you.
335
00:38:21,000 --> 00:38:26,000
And I looked at him and I said, I swore at him.
336
00:38:26,000 --> 00:38:28,000
And I started running away.
337
00:38:28,000 --> 00:38:40,000
And when I started running away from DEATH, I looked behind and DEATH sent four huge dogs to chase after me.
338
00:38:40,000 --> 00:38:43,000
They looked like Rottweilers and started chasing me.
339
00:38:43,000 --> 00:38:47,000
And so I started running, running, running and running for my life.
340
00:38:47,000 --> 00:38:55,000
And I'm looking for a place where I started looking for a place where I can defend myself should the dogs come and quarter me.
341
00:38:55,000 --> 00:39:02,000
And so I saw this huge tree and I ran towards the tree.
342
00:39:02,000 --> 00:39:10,000
And just before I reached the tree, a dog trips me up and I fall flat on the ground.
343
00:39:10,000 --> 00:39:13,000
And a dog started biting at me.
344
00:39:13,000 --> 00:39:18,000
So I get up against the tree and they're chewing on me and they're gnawing at me.
345
00:39:18,000 --> 00:39:22,000
And I'm trying to fight off, fight them off.
346
00:39:22,000 --> 00:39:35,000
And all of a sudden, I feel this rage, this tremendous rage and fury in me to the point where I started to change.
347
00:39:35,000 --> 00:39:37,000
I started growing bigger.
348
00:39:37,000 --> 00:39:41,000
I started growing claws.
349
00:39:41,000 --> 00:39:46,000
I look at my hand, they're getting long and hairy.
350
00:39:46,000 --> 00:39:59,000
And as I started looking at myself, I realized I'm morphing into a wolf man, a werewolf.
351
00:39:59,000 --> 00:40:05,000
And I turn into this huge, powerful werewolf.
352
00:40:05,000 --> 00:40:10,000
And the dogs that are trying to attack me, they look so teeny and puny.
353
00:40:10,000 --> 00:40:13,000
In fact, one of them jumped to try and get at me.
354
00:40:13,000 --> 00:40:18,000
I grab him and bite off his head and I spit it out like a seed.
355
00:40:18,000 --> 00:40:23,000
And the head goes tumbling and come to rest right in front of death.
356
00:40:23,000 --> 00:40:27,000
And death kind of looks at him and looks at me.
357
00:40:27,000 --> 00:40:31,000
And it kind of like smiles and I toss the dog away.
358
00:40:31,000 --> 00:40:34,000
The other dog is one dog I stomp on him.
359
00:40:34,000 --> 00:40:36,000
The other one I just grab and rip.
360
00:40:36,000 --> 00:40:45,000
And then the final one, the final dog sees what I do with his companions and looks at me
361
00:40:45,000 --> 00:40:50,000
and tucks his tail between his legs and run off yelping.
362
00:40:50,000 --> 00:40:57,000
And I'm over there just feel buffed, strong, powerful and mad.
363
00:40:57,000 --> 00:41:02,000
And I looked at death and I says, now I want you.
364
00:41:02,000 --> 00:41:06,000
Come on, let's go.
365
00:41:06,000 --> 00:41:10,000
I wanted to fight death.
366
00:41:10,000 --> 00:41:16,000
And death stands over there and he started laughing and he claps his hand.
367
00:41:16,000 --> 00:41:19,000
He says, congratulations.
368
00:41:19,000 --> 00:41:21,000
And I says, what for?
369
00:41:21,000 --> 00:41:25,000
He says, well, it looked like he got something to live for.
370
00:41:25,000 --> 00:41:27,000
He says, yeah, I did.
371
00:41:27,000 --> 00:41:32,000
And at that time, I had just met my wife.
372
00:41:32,000 --> 00:41:34,000
I just met her.
373
00:41:34,000 --> 00:41:38,000
And I realized that this woman would change my life.
374
00:41:38,000 --> 00:41:42,000
And up until that point, I was making a lot of bad decisions.
375
00:41:42,000 --> 00:41:50,000
And had I died in that moment, I was OK with it.
376
00:41:50,000 --> 00:41:56,000
But thinking about the moment in time, this was a turning point for me
377
00:41:56,000 --> 00:42:00,000
where I had to make a choice.
378
00:42:00,000 --> 00:42:04,000
And the choice was I choose my wife.
379
00:42:04,000 --> 00:42:11,000
And so because I made that choice, I found my life was worth preserving.
380
00:42:11,000 --> 00:42:16,000
And so death says, congratulations, you found a reason to live.
381
00:42:16,000 --> 00:42:20,000
Up until this time, you're ready to throw your life away.
382
00:42:20,000 --> 00:42:22,000
Congratulations.
383
00:42:22,000 --> 00:42:26,000
And so I says, well, you're not going to take me?
384
00:42:26,000 --> 00:42:32,000
He says, no, but I catch you later.
385
00:42:32,000 --> 00:42:35,000
Oh, so you have that going for you.
386
00:42:35,000 --> 00:42:36,000
Yeah.
387
00:42:36,000 --> 00:42:43,000
And so, you know, actually, that was a turning point.
388
00:42:43,000 --> 00:42:50,000
And all of these MDE's were turning points in life where I had to make changes.
389
00:42:50,000 --> 00:42:54,000
And this was the biggest change that I had to make in my life.
390
00:42:54,000 --> 00:43:01,000
And since making the decision to be with my wife, the best decision in the world.
391
00:43:01,000 --> 00:43:04,000
That's great. Let's talk about your final experience.
392
00:43:04,000 --> 00:43:08,000
Then we'll come back to some of those things you learned and changed.
393
00:43:08,000 --> 00:43:14,000
Sure. The last MDE occurred when I had my open heart surgery.
394
00:43:14,000 --> 00:43:21,000
I had triple bypass and they had to go in to repair my mitral valve.
395
00:43:21,000 --> 00:43:33,000
My mitral valve had not been working since working well since I caught rheumatic fever in my senior year of high school back in 1971.
396
00:43:33,000 --> 00:43:43,000
So almost 20 years or so, 30 years plus I was not right.
397
00:43:43,000 --> 00:43:50,000
So when they went in to repair that part, they stopped my heart.
398
00:43:50,000 --> 00:43:56,000
So basically I was dead.
399
00:43:56,000 --> 00:44:10,000
For a surgery that's supposed to last three and a half hours, seven and a half hours later, you know, I wake up in a room.
400
00:44:10,000 --> 00:44:22,000
But anyway, sometime during the surgery, I found myself floating, floating in this dark room.
401
00:44:22,000 --> 00:44:26,000
And I didn't understand where I was.
402
00:44:26,000 --> 00:44:35,000
And I could see this light shining on something that was covered in blue.
403
00:44:35,000 --> 00:44:40,000
And there were people around moving around really excited. You know, they were excited.
404
00:44:40,000 --> 00:44:47,000
There was panic in their voices. And I didn't understand what was going on.
405
00:44:47,000 --> 00:44:52,000
So I decided to go closer to get a better look.
406
00:44:52,000 --> 00:45:03,000
And when I came closer and started looking down, I saw me lying down on a cable, my chest wide open.
407
00:45:03,000 --> 00:45:12,000
My heart is in there and the tubes running in. And I go, oh, no.
408
00:45:12,000 --> 00:45:18,000
And the doctors and nurses are going, you know, they're trying to shock me.
409
00:45:18,000 --> 00:45:25,000
And I see my body jolting, jolting, jolting. And I got scared.
410
00:45:25,000 --> 00:45:37,000
And it's this scary feeling that triggered the return of my ancestor, who this time appeared again from behind,
411
00:45:37,000 --> 00:45:41,000
grabbed me and held me close to him.
412
00:45:41,000 --> 00:45:49,000
And when I looked back and recognized him and said, well, Kupuna, thank you.
413
00:45:49,000 --> 00:46:01,000
And so he took me out of the room and we went through the went through the surgery, the surgical room, through the building.
414
00:46:01,000 --> 00:46:07,000
And we ended up above the hospital looking down.
415
00:46:07,000 --> 00:46:14,000
And I could see all of downtown Honolulu where this hospital was. I could see everything.
416
00:46:14,000 --> 00:46:22,000
I knew exactly where I was. And I turned to Kupuna's office and said, where are we going?
417
00:46:22,000 --> 00:46:28,000
And he told me, well, we're going back to our safe room to keep you safe.
418
00:46:28,000 --> 00:46:36,000
And so we zipped right back to the same place I was when I was five years old, this small little room.
419
00:46:36,000 --> 00:46:52,000
But this time there was my ancestor and three other large body Hawaiians to try and keep me in the room.
420
00:46:52,000 --> 00:47:02,000
But they took me back to the room and we waited out until finally the doctors figured out a way to revive me.
421
00:47:02,000 --> 00:47:20,000
And while we were sitting there and talking story, my Kupuna was interested and he wanted to he wanted me to understand my name better in my Kalani.
422
00:47:20,000 --> 00:47:33,000
And he says that I'm at the point in my life where the name had changed, the meaning of the name had changed and no longer it meant I come from heaven.
423
00:47:33,000 --> 00:47:41,000
But rather it describes a person who can talk with the gods.
424
00:47:41,000 --> 00:47:48,000
That is amazing. Yeah. Why would it? Why would your name change? The meaning of it?
425
00:47:48,000 --> 00:47:57,000
Yeah, this is this is part of the traditions of naming someone in Polynesia.
426
00:47:57,000 --> 00:48:07,000
And names have multiple meanings. So it's not just one literal meaning, but it has multiple meanings.
427
00:48:07,000 --> 00:48:22,000
There are Hawaiians called Kauna or hidden meanings inside of the name. And as a person matures and grows into the names and discovers new applications of the name,
428
00:48:22,000 --> 00:48:35,000
the name, the meaning of the name change to give you better direction on where your life, what you need to focus in life.
429
00:48:35,000 --> 00:48:41,000
So the name kind of like defines who you are and what you're supposed to be doing.
430
00:48:41,000 --> 00:48:47,000
So what's your takeaway from all this? I mean, most people haven't had one amazing experience like you have.
431
00:48:47,000 --> 00:48:57,000
You've had multiples. Why? Why? First of all, why do you think you've had those kinds of experiences and what has it done for your life?
432
00:48:57,000 --> 00:49:06,000
Well, I think the reason why I had four near death experiences is that I'm a hard head.
433
00:49:06,000 --> 00:49:14,000
I'm stubborn and stubborn and a slow learner.
434
00:49:14,000 --> 00:49:30,000
But yeah, it seems that, you know, for I think my life, I'm not consistent enough up until up until recently, I'm not consistent enough.
435
00:49:30,000 --> 00:49:38,000
And it's easy for me to get distracted in different things.
436
00:49:38,000 --> 00:49:53,000
And there's many there's been many times where I find my life has been off balance, where I'm emphasizing too much in one area and neglecting other areas.
437
00:49:53,000 --> 00:49:59,000
So, you know, I pigeonhole myself too much.
438
00:49:59,000 --> 00:50:18,000
So that's why I had these multiple near death experiences, because if I really take a look at what is the interesting thing about it, you know, that second NDE where I was working with the police force.
439
00:50:18,000 --> 00:50:25,000
Right. Less than less than two years later, I left the force.
440
00:50:25,000 --> 00:50:29,000
I knew I was in a I was in an occupation.
441
00:50:29,000 --> 00:50:34,000
It didn't suit my personality. So I had to make the change.
442
00:50:34,000 --> 00:50:37,000
So what can other people learn from your experiences?
443
00:50:37,000 --> 00:50:41,000
Maybe one thing that you can leave everybody with today.
444
00:50:41,000 --> 00:50:48,000
The one thing that I learned from having all of these things is never give up on yourself.
445
00:50:48,000 --> 00:51:00,000
You know, never give up on yourself, no matter how bad things are going. And no matter how screwed up your life thinks you are.
446
00:51:00,000 --> 00:51:02,000
Life is very valuable.
447
00:51:02,000 --> 00:51:13,000
I was ready to surrender mine during my third near death experience. I was ready to give up.
448
00:51:13,000 --> 00:51:19,000
But there's.
449
00:51:19,000 --> 00:51:24,000
There's more than me.
450
00:51:24,000 --> 00:51:30,000
My life impacts more than me. I'm not in my life alone. There's other people.
451
00:51:30,000 --> 00:51:33,000
That's my wife.
452
00:51:33,000 --> 00:51:36,000
Had I given up.
453
00:51:36,000 --> 00:51:40,000
At that time, several years ago.
454
00:51:40,000 --> 00:51:44,000
There's not a lot of clients that I helped that wouldn't be able.
455
00:51:44,000 --> 00:51:48,000
So, yeah, we're not in life alone.
456
00:51:48,000 --> 00:51:52,000
It's there's we impact so many different people.
457
00:51:52,000 --> 00:52:01,000
And so if we give up too early and stuff, we lose that opportunity to share and help other people.
458
00:52:01,000 --> 00:52:05,000
Well, you Michael, I mean, mahalo.
459
00:52:05,000 --> 00:52:10,000
You're welcome.
460
00:52:10,000 --> 00:52:14,000
